Rechargeable and always ready
It is very convenient to have spare rechargeable battereies on hand. This way you always have fresh batteries for your electronics. I am currently in Iraq and I use these batteries for my headlamp and Bose noise cancelling headphones. These batteries seem to hold a charge longer that traditional batteries and it is very convenient to know that you always have a fresh set of batteries available. It is the worst thing for your batteries to die and not have a spare. I switched to rechargables about a year ago and will never go back.More detail ...
