Finally! Good rechargeable batteries.
For many years rechargeable batteries (AAA AA C D) have been very disappointing because they "self-discharge" in a week or two while waiting to be used (or sitting on a store shelf). That's why you must always charge new batteries before using them.
These new Sony batteries finally solve the problem. They self-discharge very slowly keeping 90% of their charge after a year of storage. I have been using several AAA and AA Sony rechargeable batteries for a month now and am very pleased and impressed. I only wish that C and D cells were available.More detail ...
